DTC fashion: who AI assistants recommend (and why).
We tracked 60 DTC fashion brands across 1,200 buyer prompts for 90 days. The winners weren't the largest or the loudest — they were the most quotable.

Who's winning
Three patterns separated the top-decile brands: clear sustainability claims with third-party verification, a deep size-and-fit page that LLMs could quote, and consistent presence in editorial "best of" roundups updated within the last 12 months.
Who's losing
Brands relying on paid social and influencer drops without earned editorial coverage. The models simply have nothing to cite, so the brand drops out of the answer entirely — even when it's spending heavily.
